For nearly 50 years, runners have returned to Cleveland to add another race, another bib and another memory to their stories.

This month’s Faces of the UH Cleveland Marathon celebrates a few of our Legacy and Loyalty Runners who have made race weekend a tradition. They are just a small representation of the many runners who have returned to Cleveland year after year, and we are grateful for every one of them. ❤️

2027 University Hospitals Cleveland Marathon Ambassador applications are officially OPEN!

We’re looking for passionate runners who want to represent Cleveland, connect with our running community, and help us build excitement for the 50th Cleveland Marathon.

As an ambassador, you’ll:
🏃 Participate in a 2027 Cleveland Marathon race
📣 Share the race and your running journey throughout the year
🤝 Connect with runners and your local community
🎉 Join exclusive ambassador events and experiences
👕 Receive official ambassador swag
🎟️ Receive one complimentary race entry, including the Challenge Series

Ambassadors also help support the race through social media, community outreach, race weekend activities, and more.

Every mile can make a difference. 💜 We’re proud to welcome March of Dimes (Ohio) as an Official Charity Partner of the 2027 UH Cleveland Marathon.

March of Dimes works to improve the health of moms and babies by supporting families in the NICU, expanding access to prenatal care and funding research to help prevent preterm birth.
