Collierville Classical School

🇺🇸This week, CCS students gathered for “See You at the Pole,” joining students across the country in prayer for their schools, communities, and nation. 🙏
At CCS, we’re grateful for opportunities to come together as a community and encourage our students to grow in faith, character, and love for others.

At CCS, we want our students to do more than learn about their faith—we want to give them opportunities to live it out. ❤️

Throughout the year, our students participate in special times of student-led prayer, Scripture, worship, and service. These opportunities allow them to grow in confidence, leadership, and a faith that extends beyond the classroom.

And we believe that what happens at school is only part of the picture. Christian education is strongest when school and home are working together.

That’s why we are excited about the Moment of Truth Family Conference coming this October! It is an opportunity for parents to be encouraged and equipped as they raise children who know what they believe, understand why they believe it, and are prepared to live it out.

At CCS, we are grateful for opportunities to encourage our students in their faith—and to come alongside parents as they do the same at home.

As we remember this solemn day, we pray for the families who still carry its loss and thank God for the faith, courage, and unity shown in the days that followed. May we teach the next generation to remember our history, cherish our freedom, serve others sacrificially, and look to God as our ultimate source of hope.

It was such a privilege to celebrate grandparents with our CCS students and families. It is a joy to honor them, as they faithfully teach, love, and point the next generation to the Lord.

Starts tomorrow! You don't want to miss this great class! Email [email protected] to sign up. https://www.colliervilleclassical.com/extracurricular

What are we really preparing our students for?
Not just the next test or the next grade—but for what comes next.
This encouraging reflection from Dr. Matt Shackelford is well worth the read.

Prepared for What Comes Next How Collierville Classical School Prepares Young People for the Rest of Their Lives

It is pretty special to walk into a high school classroom to see this quote sketched out by one of our upper school students on the whiteboard. The quote is often attributed to C.S. Lewis, though the original source is uncertain. What I love most is that one of our students was thinking deeply about faith, courage, and conviction.
