There's a reason we all blend together.
It's not just about efficiency. It's about everyone understanding the craft. Every hand in this pot belongs to someone who could tell you exactly what's in it and why it matters for postpartum healing.
That's the bar we hold ourselves to — and it shows up in how we support families.

What you're looking at is the back end of client care.
Measured, labeled, packed with intention. Every client we support receives blends made by people who understand postpartum recovery deeply — not just how to follow a recipe.
This is what it looks like when a team is genuinely aligned. Every detail is thought through. Nothing is generic. Because the families we serve deserve better than generic.

Your baby navigates a specific path through your pelvis during labor. That path requires rotation. And rotation is influenced, in part, by how you move and position your body.
Lying flat on your back for hours reduces pelvic diameter and works against gravity. It's often the default in a hospital setting — but it doesn't have to be yours.
Walking, rocking, side-lying with a peanut ball, hands-and-knees positioning, supported squatting — each of these changes the shape and dynamics of your pelvis in ways that can directly influence how your baby descends and rotates.
This isn't about forcing anything. It's about creating conditions that support the process that's already trying to happen.
Spinning Babies-informed support takes this further — looking at the whole picture of muscle balance, pelvic alignment, and baby position before and during labor. It's one of the most practical, evidence-grounded tools I use in my work.
We offer prenatal bodywork and birth preparation that includes positioning guidance and Spinning Babies-informed support. Link in bio.

I felt truly supported, not just during birth.
That is what one client shared after working with The Well Rounded Belly, and it says so much. Support continued into the postpartum days, when rest, reassurance, and practical care mattered most. 💛

When I built this team, I wasn't just looking for skilled doulas. I was looking for people who see birth and postpartum the same way I do.
Evidence-informed. Holistic. Deeply respectful of the families we serve. Committed to continuing to grow.
What you see here is that shared approach made visible — people who trust each other, learn from each other, and hold the same standard of care. That's not something you can fake. It's something you build, slowly, over time.
I'm proud of what this team has become.

The latent phase is the opening act of labor — contractions are present, sometimes strong, but cervical change is slow. It can feel relentless and demoralizing, especially if you were expecting things to move quickly.
This phase does not mean your body isn't working. It means your body is doing work that doesn't always show up on a dilation check.
What actually helps during latent labor:
Rest, if you can get it. Eating and staying hydrated before things intensify. Not watching the clock. Not rushing to the hospital before you need to be there. Having support that helps you conserve energy rather than fight through every contraction from the start.
What doesn't help: arriving at the hospital too early, getting into a pattern of checking and rechecking, or measuring progress by dilation alone.
Understanding this phase before you're in it changes how you respond to it.
Birth preparation starts long before contractions do. Link in bio to learn how we work.

If you've been told you need an induction, your first instinct might be disappointment. That's valid. But induction doesn't mean you lose your birth.
Here's what actually helps:
Knowing the difference between cervical ripening and labor augmentation. Understanding your Bishop score and what it means for your body. Knowing that an epidural is still your choice. Knowing that movement, positioning, and support matter just as much during an induction as they do in spontaneous labor.
I've supported hundreds of inductions. The families who felt most prepared weren't the ones who avoided intervention — they were the ones who understood what was happening and had someone in their corner to help them navigate it.
That's what a doula does.

Placenta services go beyond the ritual.
We honor your placenta with intention — whether you're encapsulating, creating a print, or burying it. But we also understand the clinical side: how to handle it safely, what to look for, how to preserve it properly.
Our team brings both reverence and expertise to this sacred postpartum moment.
We also offer meal prep, sibling doula support, and overnight postpartum care to hold you through those early weeks. Your recovery matters. Let us help.

Postpartum support that actually shows up.
Overnight care. Meal prep. Sibling doula support. Placenta services. Belly binding. We don't just visit — we hold space for your recovery.
Your first weeks matter as much as your labor. Your nervous system needs grounding. Your body needs nourishment. Your other children need care. Your partner needs support.
We show up for all of it.
Every doula on our team is mentored by me and trained in the full spectrum of postpartum care. That means you're getting clinical knowledge, traditional wisdom, and genuine presence all at once.
Let's make your postpartum as intentional as your birth.
