It’s that time again! Think you can guess our winter show?

If you can solve this crossword without any of the clues, you may have been at DLC a little too long.

Clues coming next week!

Winter Show Announcement: October 1

Mark your calendars! Registration opens with the announcement, so be ready to grab your spot and lock in our early registration rate!

Can he really read your mind? We’re pretty sure the answer is… probably not. But you might leave wondering.

Join us at DLC on October 16 for Alexander the Pretty Good, a funny, interactive evening of mental magic featuring mind-reading, impossible predictions, psychological experiments, and plenty of surprises.

Alexander is the onstage alter ego of Alex Zavistovich, Artistic Director of the National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre, and his appearance at DLC marks the beginning of an exciting new partnership between our two organizations.

Come meet Alex, have your mind messed with a little, and help us kick off a new chapter at DLC!

Something a little different is coming to DLC this winter...

We’re teaming up with the National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre for an audition-only Radio Drama Performance Intensive, December 28–31.

Work with a professional voice actor. Explore character, storytelling, and microphone technique. Record a fully produced radio drama. And perform as part of a very limited cast.

Audition details are coming soon.

Help us get the DLC truck back on the road!

If you caught our video, you know our box truck had its catalytic converter stolen this summer.

We’ve got three ways you can help with the repair:

“I Survived Summer 2026 at DLC” Hoodie
A limited-edition design that will never be reprinted. Get it while you can!

DLC T-Shirt Blind Bag
Pick your size, and we’ll pick a mystery DLC shirt from the vault. Could be a show. Could be a classic. Could be something you forgot ever existed. That’s the fun.

Just want to help?
You can contribute directly to the truck repair fund, too, no additional DLC apparel required.

Every hoodie, mystery shirt, and contribution gets us a little closer to getting the truck back where it belongs.

All three options are at the link in our bio!

Missing something from summer at DLC?

Our Lost & Found has had a very productive summer, and it’s time for its seasonal clean-out! Please stop by DLC by Friday, September 11 to check for any belongings that may have been left behind. After that date, all remaining items will be donated or discarded as appropriate.

With the volume of items we collect (and the small size of our team!), we unfortunately can’t search for or confirm individual belongings by phone or email, so please plan to stop in and take a look in person.

Thanks for helping us reunite as much stuff as possible with its rightful owners!

In case you missed it: East High is officially overcrowded, so we’re adding a portable.

Due to overwhelming demand for High School Musical Jr., we’ve added a Sunday Production Class!

Mrs. Courtney and Miss Lexi, joined by our lovely Senior Counselor Emma, are taking on the challenge of getting this brand-new group of 3rd–8th graders ready to be the FIRST cast to hit the DLC stage this season!

If you’ve been looking for your chance to get onstage at DLC this fall, don’t miss out! There’s still time to join us at East High!

And just like that… summer at DLC is a wrap!

10 weeks. 462 campers. 16 camp sections. 4 fully-produced musicals. 16 performances. 44 incredible team members. And, apparently, enough paper towels to circle the stage several times. 😅

To every camper who sang, danced, acted, created, made new friends, tried something scary, or just made us laugh this summer: thank you for spending part of it with us. And to our families and our absolutely tireless summer team, we couldn't have done any of this without you.

Now it's time to trade camp bags for backpacks. Good luck to all of our DLC students heading back to school! We hope your year gets off to a fantastic start.

As for us? We're already getting ready for the next curtain to rise…

See you at East High, Wildcats.
