Katie R. has joined the PIC family as an Administrative Support Volunteer, helping us strengthen our behind-the-scenes operations, organize records, and keep up with the administrative work that comes with serving a growing number of families.

A Columbia native and University of South Carolina alumna 💖Go Gamecocks! 🐔 💖Katie brings experience in business operations, data, systems management, and customer service. As a mom herself, she was drawn to Power In Changing because of our commitment to supporting women and families with essential needs right here in our community.

Katie is looking forward to welcoming our clients, volunteers, and donors 💖so when you see her around the office, be sure to say hello! 💖

We are incredibly grateful to the ladies of the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. – Columbia, SC Chapter for selecting Power In Changing to receive this AMAZING collection of baby food and infant feeding essentials! 🍼🥣💕

And when we say they collected baby food… they COLLECTED baby food! 🙌🏾

From formula and cereal to baby food, snacks, pouches and more, these donations will help us provide families with another basic necessity that can take a real bite out of an already-stretched household budget.

This is what community looks like 💖women coming together, giving generously, and making sure local babies and families have what they need to thrive. 💖

Y’all have been showing OUT for our 11th anniversary! 🥹

Over the last couple of days, more community donors have stopped by with hundreds of diapers and other essentials, and our friends at Cooper Library also collected donations to help support the families we serve!

Diapers, youth incontinence products, period products and other much-needed items — it ALL helps. 💖

And every diaper donated gets us another step closer to our 11,000 Diaper Challenge in celebration of 11 years of Power In Changing! 🥳

What we love most about these pictures isn’t just the amount of product 💖it’s seeing our community show up for one another. For 11 years, you’ve trusted us to take what you give and get it into the hands of families who need it. We don’t take that support for granted.

💖 Do Good in Action!

A BIG thank you to our friends from Emmaus Church for spending part of their Do Good volunteer day with Power In Changing!

This small but mighty crew💖including a family returning to volunteer with us again this year💕got A LOT accomplished! 🙌🏾 They wrapped diapers, sorted baby clothing, helped us transition our clothing inventory from spring/summer to fall/winter, and got a firsthand look at the work that happens behind the scenes to keep families supplied throughout the year.

We’re so grateful for the helping hands, great conversations, and families choosing to serve together. 💖
