🎭💚 What’s Happening Wednesday!

This week, we’re highlighting our Drama Group! 🎬

Through improv, storytelling, and role-playing, our group members can practice communication in a fun, supportive environment. It’s all about building confidence, making connections, and having fun while communicating! 🗣️✨

Drama Group reminds us that communication is about more than words—it’s about creativity, connection, and self-expression. 💚

🧠 MYTH-BUSTING MONDAY!

❌ MYTH: Aphasia means a person is less intelligent.

✅ FACT: Aphasia affects a person’s ability to use language — not their intelligence.

Someone with aphasia may have trouble talking, understanding others, reading, writing, or using numbers. But people with aphasia still know what they want to say, have their own thoughts and opinions, and can make their own decisions. 💚

Communication may take a little more time, patience, and support — and that’s okay!

Be kind. Be patient. Include. 🫶
