Could God use your skills in Madagascar?

From June 10–20, 2027, ASI members and friends will serve through health outreach, a citywide health expo, and evangelistic meetings in Antananarivo.

We especially need physicians, nurses, other health professionals, lay medical missionaries, and presenters, but you don’t need a medical background or speaking experience to join. If you love Jesus and have a heart to serve, there is a place for you.

Will you prayerfully consider going?

Learn more and register by December 31 at asiministries.org/madagascar-mission.

How are you sharing Christ in your marketplace? Every day, ASI members are living out their faith through their businesses, professions and ministries—serving others, building meaningful relationships and creating opportunities to point people to Jesus.

ASI Members: We want to hear how you are sharing Christ in your marketplace! Send us a DM and tell us how God is using you to share Christ in the marketplace. If you have a photo to accompany your story, send that too. We may share your story through our media channels.

Your experience could inspire someone else to see their own workplace as a mission field.

Can a medical exam room become a mission field? Can one unmet need inspire ministry across several countries? For Vern and Sharon Erickson, sharing Christ has meant recognizing—and responding to—the opportunities God places before them. Join ASI Hour host Greg Perry for an inspiring conversation about faith in action, unexpected avenues for ministry, and the difference laypeople can make when they are willing to serve wherever God leads.

Vern and Sharon Erickson have spent decades serving through medicine, missions, music, church leadership, and ASI. Vern is an internal medicine physician who graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed his residency at Wayne State University. In his Minnesota medical practice, he intentionally shared his faith with patients and colleagues, helping connect interested individuals with Bible studies. He also served as a national ASI vice president and later as president of We Have This Hope Christian Radio.

Sharon’s international children’s ministry began after a mission trip revealed a shortage of Sabbath School resources. She mobilized their local church to prepare materials that reached children in Belize, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Honduras, and China. Longtime members of the Park Rapids Seventh-day Adventist Church, Vern and Sharon have also served through church leadership, children’s ministry, and music.

Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding and elevate your ministry!

"Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?"

That question closed the ASI International Convention last month in Phoenix.

From Doug Batchelor's opening message to Mark Finley's closing charge on Isaiah 6, testimonies from our members, the many learning opportunities, children’s, youth, and young professional programs, the ministries represented in the exhibit hall, and much more, attendees were reminded of the role we have in hastening Christ’s soon return.

The convention has ended. The work continues.
