My friend Spencer Jones is hosting The Energizer Summit in Milwaukee this September 24-26th, and I wanted to share it with you. Itâs a three-day immersive experience focused on reducing burnout, staying calm under pressure, and building sustainable performance, with a big emphasis on real connection and community. Iâd be there myself if I wasnât traveling that weekend! If you or your team have been carrying a lot lately, Iâd definitely encourage you to check it out.
Here's the link to it:

We have more technology for staying connected than ever before.
But here's the catch:
Technology can help you manage your network. It can't build relationships for you.
The right tools can help us remember to follow up, make better introductions, stay connected and recognize opportunities to help the people in our network.
Used the wrong way? They can make networking feel less human, not more.
I wrote a new blog about finding that balance â and why the best use of technology may actually be helping us become more personal and intentional with our relationships.
Give it a read đ

And if this topic hits home, we'll be digging much deeper into it during my upcoming Technology and Your Network digital workshop. Registration link in comments.

Is technology helping you build your networkâor just giving you more people to keep up with?
There's a difference.
The right technology can make networking easier. It can help you stay organized, follow up, schedule conversations, remember important connections, and stay top of mind.
But technology is only useful if it helps you build better relationships.
That's what we'll be talking about in my next online workshop, Technology and Your Network, on September 10.
This isn't about chasing every new app or becoming a technology expert.
It's about learning how to use the tools available to you more intentionally so you can spend less time managing your network and more time building it.
If that sounds useful, I'd love to have you join us.
đ I'll put the registration link in the comments.

How many people are in your networkâand how many of them do you actually have a relationship with?
There's a big difference.
It's easy to meet people, exchange information, connect on social media and then move on to the next person.
But that's not where the real value of a network comes from.
The value comes from developing those connections into relationships built on trustâand eventually into collaboration, referrals and advocacy.
On August 27, I'm teaching The Five Stages of Business Relationships, a practical workshop about understanding how business relationships develop and what you can do to intentionally move them forward.
If you're ready to focus less on collecting connections and more on developing the right relationships, join me.
