Meet Chris Amerson, Modern Turf’s Logistics Coordinator.

Chris joined the team in 2010 as a Sales Representative and transitioned into his current role in 2011. His years of hands-on experience in landscape installation and maintenance give him valuable insight into the planning required for efficient sod delivery.

Chris helps coordinate the complex logistics that move quality turf from our farms to customers and jobsites. We appreciate his experience, problem-solving and dedication to keeping deliveries on track!

Another set of greens taking shape in South Florida. 🌱⛳

The Modern Turf team was recently on site at NOKOSI in Palm Beach County, planting Mach 1® Ultradwarf Bermudagrass on the putting greens of this new Jack Nicklaus-designed championship golf course.

Currently under development in Lantana, Florida, NOKOSI is being created as a private golf and lifestyle destination and is scheduled to open for play during the 2026/2027 season.

From sprigging to irrigation and grow-in, these photos offer a look at one of our favorite parts of the process—the beginning. Mach 1’s dense growth habit, fine texture and faster grow-in make it an exceptional choice for new construction and renovation projects where the end goal is a smooth, consistent putting surface.
