An AMAZING opportunity is waiting for you! 🛠️🤖⚙️
The Ubuntu Engineering Ambassadors are heading to Youngstown State University’s Excellence Training Center for a hands-on experience exploring the world of engineering and advanced manufacturing.
📅 Monday, September 28, 2026
📍 Youngstown State University – Youngstown, Ohio
Leaders will get the chance to experience robotics, automation, 3D printing, advanced manufacturing, engineering, and technology while learning about pathways to college, credentials, apprenticeships, careers, and employment.
🔥 Only 10 Ubuntu Leaders will be selected!
📧 WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Check your email for the Engineering Ambassador form and complete it as soon as possible to be considered for this opportunity.
You do not have to know whether engineering is for you. That’s the point—come experience it, meet professionals, work with the technology, and discover what’s possible!
This is more than a campus visit. It’s the beginning of a year-long engineering and workforce pathway.
🖤💛 Ubuntu Leaders, check your email and get that form submitted!

It takes a village. It also takes vision, experience, and people willing to answer the call.
The Masters Preparatory Academy is proud to welcome an incredible group of leaders to our National Advisory Council!
These aren’t just names on a list. They are educators, innovators, executives, and community leaders who have spent their careers creating opportunities, transforming schools, developing leaders, and advocating for young people.
Joining the National Advisory Council are:
⭐ Ron Walker — Founder of COSEBOC
⭐ Doris Korda — CEO, Korda Institute for Teaching
⭐ Harrison Peters — CEO & Co-Founder, Men of Color in Educational Leadership
⭐ Dr. Lee Gill, JD, EdD — Higher education and diversity leader
⭐ Christopher P. Chatmon — Founder & CEO, Kingmakers of Oakland
⭐ David C. Banks, JD — President, The Eagle Academy Foundation & Founding Principal of Eagle Academy for Young Men
⭐ Dr. Judy Touzin, Ed.D., Ph.D. — Educator, principal, leadership coach, and advocate for affirming educational environments for Black boys and young men
Each brings a different perspective, a powerful network, and years of experience to one shared mission: helping young men recognize their potential and preparing them to lead, contribute, and thrive.
This is what it looks like when we surround our young men with people who believe in what is possible for them.

Our UBUNTU Leaders & Parents/Guardians met us at the BANK! 🏦💰
Through an amazing hands-on experience with Adelphi Bank, our Leaders took an important step toward financial independence—opening their own bank accounts, making deposits, gaining hands-on financial education, and learning about valuable community resources.
Financial literacy in ACTION! We’re building healthy money habits today that can lead to wealth, ownership, and generational impact tomorrow. 💵🌱
A HUGE shoutout to Founders/ CEO Mr. Jordan Miller & Kevin Boyce, and the amazing Adelphi Team Adelphi Bank — Monique, Branden, and Gabrielle — for investing your time, knowledge, and resources into our UBUNTU Leaders! 🙌🏾💙
Learn it. Save it. Grow it. Build WEALTH!
Gratitude makes our mission possible. ❤️
