Getwitit National

For 10 years, getWITit has been built on something you can’t put a price on: community, connection, and the opportunity to grow into the leader you’re meant to be.

For Cierra Smith-Voytek, our Director of Engagement, getWITit became a place to give back alongside like-minded people, build meaningful relationships, and challenge herself to lead—long before she ever had an official leadership title.

Her story is just one example of what makes this milestone so meaningful. For a decade, this community has brought people together, opened doors, created opportunities, and empowered the next generation of leaders in tech. 💙

And this December, we’re dressing up, raising a glass, and celebrating all of it. 🥂

Join us for an unforgettable evening at the getWITit 10-Year Anniversary Gala at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens—an evening dedicated to the people, stories, and impact that made the last decade possible, and everything still ahead.

Ten years of getWITit isn’t just a milestone—it’s a reflection of the people, connections, risks, and opportunities that have shaped this community along the way. 💙

As Cari Kish, our Leadership Program Director, shared:
“The thing I’m proudest of after ten years is that getWITit was never about one event or one program—it’s about the compounding effect of people who felt seen, took a risk, and grew into leaders.”

That is exactly what we’ll be celebrating at our 10-Year Anniversary Gala this December. 👏

Today, we celebrate the people whose hard work, passion, creativity, and determination continue to move our workplaces, communities, and industries forward.

At getWITit, we’re especially proud to recognize the incredible women in technology who are building, leading, innovating, mentoring, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Your work matters. Your ideas matter. Your impact matters.

Here’s to the women breaking barriers, the allies helping open doors, and the communities working together to build a more inclusive future in technology.

Happy Labor Day from all of us at getWITit! 💙

10 years of connection. 10 years of opening doors. 10 years of reminding women they belong in tech. 💙

As we count down to getWITit’s 10-Year Anniversary Gala, we’re sharing reflections from the people who have helped shape this community along the way.

For our National Director of Marketing & Communications, Nikki (Holter) Sweitzer, what makes getWITit special isn’t something you can capture in a statistic.

✔️ It’s the connection that turns into an opportunity.
✔️ The introduction that changes a career.
✔️ The confidence someone finds when they realize they belong in the room.
✔️ And the women who keep reaching back to open doors for the women coming behind them.

That is the legacy we’re celebrating. And we want YOU in the room for it.

On December 12, we’re bringing the getWITit community together in Columbus for one unforgettable night celebrating where we started, how far we’ve come, and everything we’re building next.

And we know many of you are wondering the same thing.
