AMC A-List Week 5 🎬🍿 This week had one of the WORST movies I've seen with A-List… and then one of the biggest surprises.

Forgotten Island's animation was absolutely BONKERS and somehow became the best movie of the week.
And I saved almost $33 with AMC A-List.

Naruto's resume BEFORE the Land of Waves arc is ridiculous 😭

Before Team 7 even went on their first mission, this mf had already:

• Outsmarted Hiruzen
• Stolen the Forbidden Scroll
• Beaten Mizuki
• Beat Sasuke in their first real clash
• Completely folded Ebisu

And people wanna act like Naruto was just some useless academy clown 💀

The funniest part is that if you take the feats literally, Naruto did stuff that would make his later Kage-level scaling look insane.

The Hokage agenda started on DAY ONE.

AMC A-List Week 4 🎬🍿 This week was looking BAD… until Resident Evil came through 😭
I saw 4 movies:
• The Fix
• The Weight
• Resident Evil
• Tiny Fugitives
Resident Evil was easily the highlight, and AMC A-List saved me about $38 this week.

People seriously underrate Naruto and Gaara compared to Sasuke in the Chunin Exams because they keep changing the rules of the fight. No Gamabunta. No full Shukaku. Proctor present. But somehow Sasuke's Curse Mark restriction gets conveniently forgotten even though Kakashi specifically told him not to use it. And when you take the tournament setting away, Sasuke's matchup against Naruto looks VERY different.
Gaara nearly offed Sasuke in the Forest of Death with only a partial transformation. Naruto was the one who had to save him.
Meanwhile, Naruto potentially has Gamabunta available in an unrestricted fight.
So are we actually comparing who was stronger, or are we comparing who performs better under Chunin Exam rules?

Sasuke has a HUGE problem if his only answer to Neji is Chidori.
Yeah, Chidori pierced through Gaara's sand, but Neji's Rotation isn't just some stationary wall of defense.
It already held off a Kyuubi-amplified Naruto charging straight at Neji, and Rotation can repel attacks back at the person attacking it.
So Sasuke has to somehow break through a defense that's specifically designed to deal with close-range attacks… while also charging up an attack that requires him to get into Neji's preferred range.
And if Neji is faster, when the hell is Sasuke even getting Chidori off?
Chidori vs Rotation is a TERRIBLE matchup for Sasuke.

The Sasuke Retrieval Mission had a MASSIVE advantage sitting right in front of them… and they ignored it.
Kiba literally found Raido and Genma fighting the Sound Four, and Shikamaru considered going over there.
Instead, Naruto and Neji talked him out of it.
That means they knowingly passed up firsthand information about the exact enemies they were about to fight.
And it gets worse: Iwashi was there too, meaning they potentially could've picked up another Chunin for the mission.
Imagine having intel on the Sound Four, an extra ninja, better matchup options, and more time to prepare… all because you actually stopped to investigate.
The mission didn't necessarily have to end the way it did.

Naruto was Kage level BEFORE Team 7 even existed 😭
Bro's first major feat was beating Hiruzen Sarutobi.
And before somebody says "it's a gag", Naruto stole a forbidden scroll. The situation itself was absolutely serious, of course Hiruzen was trying to protect it with everything he had.
Then he beat Sasuke, casually handled Mizuki, and dropped Ebisu before the Land of Waves mission even started.
Y'all have been underrating Pre-Bell Test Naruto this entire time.

Sasuke only looks better than Chunin Exams Naruto when you give him the most convenient rules possible 😭

Suddenly the fight has a proctor, Naruto can't summon Gamabunta, Gaara can't fully transform, and everybody has to follow Chunin Exam rules.

But Sasuke's Curse Mark gets ignored even though Kakashi explicitly said he couldn't use it.

Take the restrictions away and the matchup looks VERY different.

Gaara already nearly killed Sasuke in the Forest of Death with only a partial transformation, while Naruto potentially has Gamabunta available in an actual fight outside the Exams.

Chunin Exam Sasuke is NOT beating that version of Naruto.

Sasuke's Chidori pierced Gaara's sand, but that's not the same thing as breaking through Neji's Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation.
Neji's defense already stopped a Kyuubi-amplified Naruto charging directly at him, and Rotation doesn't just block attacks it repels them.
And Sasuke has another problem: he has to actually charge Chidori first.
If Neji is faster and already knows Sasuke needs to enter close range, when is Sasuke even getting the attack off?
Neji takes this Chunin Exams matchup.
