The Goetchius House An enchanting 1839 New Orleans style mansion on the river in the Historic District with a made from scratch bakery, amazing brunch, memorable dinner delights, functional urban farm, live entertainment, & the unexpected!

You know The Goetchius House for brunch, dinner, events and live music. But have you followed your nose downstairs? Our bakery by The Painter Gypsy serves fresh, made-from-scratch baked goods and lunch happiness Thursday–Sunday, 9 am–2 pm and has indoor and outdoor seating. You won't be able to get enough of fresh treats and espresso fragrance in the air... it seems like it's part of the architecture! Every Saturday night, the bakery turns into our Drop the Mic Karaoke Party... just another reason to stop in, be yourself and add to the 2 centuries of stories! See you soon.

THE KARAOKE NIGHT THAT CAN'T BE MISSED!

Why? Because the magic fairy dust or paranormal presence in the air somehow convinces perfectly reasonable adults that they absolutely can sing Whitney Houston, Johnny Cash or Vanilla Ice. Come celebrate Saturday Night with friends at a 200 year old New Orleans style mansion that will make you wonder if you are in a fever dream transported to New Orleans on Bourbon Street.

Sing beautifully. Sing terribly. Dance shamelessly. Just don’t miss it... or you may spend the rest of the year regretting how you missed what is always a legendary night with an open mic.

Open at 5 PM for dinner, Karaoke starts at 8:00 PM at the G-**ot, lower level, side entrance. Think this is only a stuff place your grandparent used to visit? It's time to meet the other side of her personality!

The Goetchius House An enchanting 1839 New Orleans style mansion on the river in the Historic District with a made from scratch bakery, amazing brunch, memorable dinner delights, functional urban farm, live entertainment, & the unexpected!

We have a habit of feeding more than your appetite. Inside our 1839 New Orleans-style mansion, scratch-made meals arrive with garden-fresh ingredients and a generous side of curiosity. Historic rooms start conversations. Art, objects and oddities give you something to talk about. Live music lifts the spirit. Laughter moves from table to table. And... your phone may finally realize it is definitely not the most interesting thing in the room.

The best meals aren’t only about what’s on the table, they’re about who gathers around it, the stories that are shared and those wonderful moments when everyone forgets that they were in a hurry.

Bring someone you love. Stay longer than planned. Leave a little lighter, a little more alive and be glad that someone else is doing the dishes.
