We strengthen our community through affordable housing, advocacy, and financial education. Franklinton Development Association has been operating since 1993.
The organization started as a board-led non-profit aimed to create affordable homeownership opportunities. Our highest priority is to serve our residents to the best of our ability. We are dedicated to creating housing opportunities for people at all income levels, but especially those struggling financially. We are built around cooperation, hard work, empathy, and a love for Franklinton and its residents. Our long history in the community enables us to stay true to the people we aim to serve. Franklinton should be a united community, working hand in hand to create a place where there is enough room for everyone to belong without fear of displacement, or economic segregation. We offer support to those in need and assistance to anyone looking for information through Franklinton.org and Hilltopusa.org. We are here for our neighbors.

Our Third cohort for 2026 just graduated from the Financial Life Skills Program. We are so proud of them! Our next classes start September 1st. Quick heads up: we'll be closed for donations Tuesday July 28th & Wednesday July 29th, and closed for service Thursday July 30th.
Our volunteers work so hard for our families every week, and we want to make sure they get a chance to rest. It also gives us time to catch up on some behind-the-scenes stuff that keeps Little Bottoms running smoothly.
We'll be back the following week! Can't wait to see you for donations August 4th & 5th, and Service Hours August 6th.
