The Marietta Times- Disability Rights Ohio's annual Duck Derby will return to the Muskingum River for a sixth consecutive year Wednesday, Sept. 23, raising money for the nonprofit's advocacy work for people with disabilities.

Hundreds of plastic ducks will be released into the river about 5 p.m. The sponsors of the first three ducks to reach the finish line will receive cash prizes of $500 for first place, $250 for second and $125 for third.

Join the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services on Saturday, September 19th for a special screening of the award-winning documentary Lest We Forget: Silent Voices.

Following the screening, Disability Rights Ohio President and CEO Kerstin Sjoberg will participate in a moderated panel discussion of disability professionals, self-advocates, and community members who will reflect on the film's themes and explore the progress that has been made, as well as the work that continues to ensure equitable opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
