IBEW Local 71

Local 71 Members-
We have another busy month ahead, and wanted to highlight important dates, meetings, events, and reminders to keep on your radar.

Take a look, mark your calendars, and make sure you don’t miss what’s coming up. Happy October⚡️🎃

Local 71 Members! We’ve got you covered!

We have put together a new Member Quick Guide. Which features some of our most commonly asked questions, and helpful information you may need along the way!

Whether you’re not sure who to contact, where to find information, or what steps to take, this guide is designed to hopefully help point you in the right direction. As well as make things a little easier on our members.

We encourage everyone to save this guide for future reference, as you never know when it may come in handy. As always if you still have questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Local 71 office!

🚨!!!!ATTENTION LOCAL 71 MEMBERS!!!!🚨

We’ve been receiving an influx of calls regarding the recent “Dues reminder” emails that were sent out. We want to let everyone know that our team is aware of this issue and we are working to get this resolved.

If you know you are paid up on your dues, you can disregard the email for now. We greatly apologize for all of the confusion.

If you would like to double-check your account or verify that your dues are paid, you are more than welcome to give our Local 71 office a call. And for everyone else… pay your dues!

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we get this sorted out.

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

This month is an important month for Local 71. We stand together, to raise awareness for mental health and su***de prevention. Behind every hard hat is a person, a story, and a life that matters.

The Brotherhood means looking out for one another. Not just on the job, but beyond it. If you are struggling, you don’t have to carry it alone. There is strength in asking for help, and there is strength in being there for someone who needs it. Check up on your Brothers and Sisters.

You are valued. You are needed. You are not alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline.

Free + Confidential counseling through LineCo’s Member Assistance Program 1(800) 332-2191

Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless others who were forever impacted by that day.

We pay special tribute to all of the first responders, who demonstrated extraordinary courage and selflessness. We honor those who gave their lives serving others, and those who continue to carry the emotional weight of that day.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget 🇺🇸
