Summer hours (June, July, August) are 11am to 1pm. The Commerce Food Pantry is a non-profit food assistance organization. Have a donation? to 1 p.m.
A 501(c)3 non-profit organization that distributes food and personal care items to those in need residing in 75428, 75422, 75448, 75449, and 75469 on Thursdays from 2 to 4pm. It is housed at the First Presbyterian Church of Commerce and is governed by a board of directors and staffed by volunteers. We sometimes hear from neighbors who think they have to choose between the Commerce Food Pantry and the Bread of Life Food Pantry. That is not the case! As partner agencies of the North Texas Food Bank, we both encourage anyone experiencing food insecurity to seek the assistance they need. Both pantries are here to serve our community, and we're thankful to work alongside others who share this mission. See their post below for details about Friday distribution.
Bread of Life is also seeking additional volunteers for their Friday distribution.
