Our Kinder Tiny Tigers had a little extra FUN with math this week!

Students practiced counting to 5 and then adding one more to make 6—and what better way to bring that learning to life than with one scoop of ice cream?! 🍨

After doing the math, our Tiny Tigers got to make a real-world connection by enjoying a scoop of their own at snack time! Lots of learning, lots of smiles, and a pretty SWEET way to practice our math skills! 🥰

We love seeing our youngest Tigers learn through hands-on experiences that make learning meaningful AND fun! 📚➕🍦

Congratulations to 2nd Grade for taking the TOP spot for September attendance with 96.47%! 🎉👏 Way to show up, Tiny Tigers!

Our goal is for EVERY grade level to be above 95%! 🧡🖤 Every day matters, and every day at school is another opportunity to learn, grow, and ROAR!

Let’s see if we can get ALL of our Tiny Tigers above 95% in October! 📚

🍎 Johnny Appleseed Fun in Pre-K! 🍎

Our Tiny Tigers had a fun-filled week celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day while learning through lots of hands-on activities! 🐯❤️

🍏 Creating apple patterns & sorting apples
🍎 Making paper-tear apples
🎨 Apple printing with paint while practicing counting
😋 Apple tasting & graphing our favorites
🍏 Learning the parts of an apple
🥧 Following an apple pie recipe while learning about ordinal numbers

So much learning was packed into all that apple fun! We love seeing our littlest Tiny Tigers explore, create, taste, count, and learn! 🍎🐯🧡🖤

Our CES PTO brought a little Dolly magic through the halls today! 💕✨

They rolled around the Dolly Cart so our staff could “grab themselves a cup of ambition” and enjoy a little Friday pick-me-up! ☕️🩷🤠

We are so thankful for a PTO that goes above and beyond to make our staff feel loved and appreciated. As Dolly says, “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.” Our Tiny Tiger crew sure knows how to make CES a special place! 🐯🧡

🌟 CES Teacher Spotlight: Ceslie Warner 🌟

Mrs. Warner brings team spirit, humor, and a willingness to jump in and make things happen to CES! 🧡🖤 She is working hard to give her students the very best instruction within her classroom doors and continues to show a willingness to learn and grow as a classroom teacher. She is receptive to feedback, implements instructional strategies suggested by administration, and works to put that feedback into action. She has also jumped right in with our Tiny Tiger Bucks reward system, using it to recognize and reinforce positive student choices.
We appreciate the energy, laughter, commitment, and growth mindset Mrs. Warner brings to her team and her Tiny Tigers each day.

This week, our Tiny Tigers are learning how something as simple as saying “HELLO!” can help others feel seen, included, and valued. Small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference! 🧡

🏡 Monday: No School — Say hello to a friendly face at home or in your neighborhood!
🌎 Tuesday: Learn to say HELLO in a new language!
📚 Wednesday: Read with your buddy class!
🛝 Thursday: Play with someone new at recess!
🤠 Friday: 9 to 5 Day! Add a little Dolly or western wear to your Tiger spirit gear! And remember Dolly’s words: “If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.” 🧡
