Welcome back Nina‼️ We are excited to have Nina Najafizadeh back this summer giving lessons in hitting & catching.

A little bit about Nina:

“Hello All!

I have been playing softball for over 10 years at a competitive level. I was a catcher for 9 years, played outfield and I am primarily a first basemen. I currently play softball at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento!

This past season in college: For the month of March through 11 games I had 2 doubles 1 triple 6 walks and a .444 Batting Average

I received Player of the Week Honors April 13th-19th 2026 for a 3 game stretch, with 3 multi hit games, one double and 7 hits overall and a .636 batting average

Honorable Mention All Conference 2026 with a Conference .383 Batting Average.

Nominated for a Gold Glove at First Base.

A little bit about Mia:

“Hello All!

I am Mia Rodriguez. I currently play division I softball at San Diego State University, where I compete as a slapper and outfielder. My game is most focused on speed, consistency, and HYPE energy! I take pride in my love for softball and devoted to the people around me.

Being a student-athlete at the Division I level has taught me the values of resilience and time management. I take every day with intention and also bring good vibes!

Beyond being a student- athlete, I am passionate about giving back to the softball community and making connections. I am excited to have the privilege to mentor to young girls, build confidence, and build on their game. My goal is to be a positive role model who practices what they preach and give the most to those who are mentored!

My goal is to continue developing as both an athlete and a leader, while also learning myself. By using my platform to encourage the girls who play this game, my goal is to make an impact in the most positive version and leaving and impact!”

Please welcome to the 008 Training Family, Bailey Sample‼️ We are excited to have Bailey joining the 008 Training family for hitting & fielding lessons with an emphasis on mental performance.

A little bit about Bailey:

“Bailey Sample is a high-energy, team-first athlete whose career has been defined by leadership, consistency, and a passion for the game. A four-year varsity starter at Benicia High School, she earned First Team All-League honors and was named her school’s Athlete of the Year, helping lead her team to both league and sectional championships.

At the collegiate level, Bailey made an immediate impact as a freshman at Bowling Green State University, starting all 54 games of the season. She led the team in doubles and quickly established herself as a reliable presence in the lineup, while also earning All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition for her work in the classroom.

She continued her career at Bradley University, where she became a key contributor on the infield at first and third base. Known for her versatility and offensive production, she ranked among team leaders in multiple categories, earned All-Defensive Team honors, and was recognized as a Scholar-Athlete of the Week for her performance both on the field and academically.

Bailey went on to the University of Nebraska Omaha to pursue her master’s degree, continuing her role as a starting infielder and bringing veteran leadership to the program.

Across every stop in her career, Bailey has been known as one of the most vocal and energetic players on and off the field. She brings passion, intensity, and a contagious love for the game—celebrating the small wins just as much as the big ones. Her leadership style is rooted in positivity, accountability, and creating an environment where teammates can thrive.”
