Last week, they stopped by with ANOTHER generous food donation bringing in 160 pounds of food to help stock our Client Choice Food Pantry. Their continued support helps ensure families in our community have access to the essentials they need. 🥫💙

We are so grateful for Goodwin & Company care for the community and are making a lasting impact through their kindness and generosity. Thank you for always being there for our neighbors! ✨

In observance of Juneteenth, Community Assistance Center & Unique Resale will be closed on Friday, June 19.

Our offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, June 23.

Summer Stock Bags can be picked up tomorrow, Thursday June 18th.

This week, we're shining the spotlight on one of our amazing Case Managers, Ismael, who officially marks one year with CAC on Tuesday, June 16th! 🎉🎉

If you've ever met Ismael, you know he has a way of making people feel comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors. His caring nature, positive attitude and great sense of humor help clients feel supported and encouraged during difficult times. Whether he's helping a client navigate resources or jumping in to assist a coworker, Ismael is always ready to lend a hand.🫶🫶

Over the past year, Ismael has made a lasting impact through his compassion, dedication and willingness to help wherever needed. We are grateful for the laughter, kindness and hard work he brings to CAC each day.

Congratulations on your first CAC anniversary, Ismael! Thank you for an amazing year of service to our clients and community. ❤️💙

A huge thank you to Stacy and Abby, who spent Monday with us weighing and sorting the incredible donations collected by the National Charity League Bluebonnets! 🎉

Thanks to the bluebonnets hard work and generosity, they collected:
🥫 355 cans of soup
🥕 385 canned vegetables
🥜 329 jars of peanut butter
🍇 325 jars of jelly
🍑 317 cans of fruit

That's an amazing 2,299 pounds of food! 🙌

These donations will provide 60 children with six weeks of food through our Summer Stock Program, helping ensure local kids have access to nutritious meals all summer long.❤️💙

Thank you, Bluebonnets, for making a difference in the lives of children and families in our community. Your kindness is creating a brighter summer for so many! ❤️
