Your Own Slice of the Country — 4.3 Acres, Two Ponds, and a Log Home to Match
Escape to a genuine log home retreat on 4.3 private acres, anchored by two ponds — one just steps from a screened back porch built for watching the sun go down over the water. Inside, a spacious great room with soaring ceilings, exposed wood beams, and a cozy wood-burning stove sets the tone: this is a home for slow mornings on the front porch and quiet evenings by the fire.
The 3-bedroom, 2-bath layout offers a flexible primary suite up or down, plus a well-designed galley kitchen with smart, efficient storage. Out back, a greenhouse and chicken coop are ready for whoever wants to grow their own or keep a small flock — light deed restrictions allow horses, cows, goats, and chickens for personal use. Note: the property is not fully fenced, so any animals or containment setup would need fencing added.
An oversized detached garage adds real versatility, with a workshop, an upstairs bonus room, and bathroom plumbing roughed in and ready to finish. Whether you're after a weekend getaway, a hobby farm start, or full-time country living, this property offers the land, privacy, and character to make it your own — all within easy reach of 99 and 242. Also available for rent $3,500/month

The Woodlands Township

On August 3rd, the GSE's (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) made it exponentially harder for a buyer to finance a condo. It gets even worse January of next year.

One of the number one reasons we see condos declined for financing? INSURANCE. Now, the coverage has to equal full replacement cost. i.e. replacement cost is $10,000,000 for all units; insurance must be for $10,000,000. Most condo associations and by proxy, the condo owners, cannot afford this increase in coverage...especially along the Gulf Coast.

Please see attached if you are listing a condo or thinking of making an offer on one. Call us with any questions. 936-447-5626
