Our volunteers MAKE A DIFFERENCE💪🏼! Congratulations to Mr. Bob Maddux and the Lochaven Trash Busters 🥳! For the past 3 years they have been tackling litter and caring for our planet in a much needed way!! They have volunteered 562 hours to clean up over 10,000 lbs. of litter on 70 miles of roadways in Conway. PalmettoPride has chosen our very own Bob Maddux as South Carolina's 2026 Volunteer of the Year and Keep Conway Beautiful awarded the Lochaven Trash Busters with Volunteer Group of the Year! Congratulations 🎉!

The HCS Early College High School held another cleanup down at Waccamaw River Park! This group cleaned up 36 bags (approx. 620 lbs.) of litter😳consisting of a shopping cart, cooler, old grill, and a big piece of carpet🧐! We appreciate their commitment to keep our park clean! Thank you for all you do for Conway! Thanks to PalmettoPride for grant funding and supplies to make our cleanup programs successful 💪!
