Our library will be closed on Monday, OCT 12, in honor of Indigenous People's Day. We will also be holding a staff in-service to continue our mission of making a library a better place to share collections, spaces, and activities together.

We will reopen and continue operating within our normal business hours on Tuesday, OCT 13.

WOW! We love to see that the Harps in Mayflower has set up a donation box at their local store as our Mayflower Library takes non-perishable food donations to help fill their little free food pantry! If you're around the Mayflower area and are able to, please be sure to stop by and donate today. ❤

We’d like to thank Harps in Mayflower for allowing us to put out a box for non-perishable food donations for our little free food pantry! If you are doing your shopping at Harps and pick up an extra item or two for the community, you can leave them in our box and we will get them to our pantry.

Don't forget that the last day to register to vote in the general elections is OCT 5! Forms can be found at our front desk. Once you have them filled out, return them and then we'll take care of the postage for you! Any registrations postmarked after OCT 5 will not be accepted.

Hello, Friends! The fall book sale is THIS WEEK! Sale begins Friday, October 2 at 6 pm for Friends members (memberships may be purchased at the door). A couple of things:

1) The Friends Room will CLOSE for sales at the end of the day Tuesday, 9/29, so that volunteers can put out new inventory for the upcoming sale.

2) There are still volunteer slots available if you would like to be part of the process! We need help unboxing and setting up, breaking down boxes, cashiering, tidying up during the sale, etc. Sign up here: https://signup.com/go/juxvnNA

Setup volunteers with a current Friends membership may purchase books for personal use prior to the sale. (No scanning please until the sale begins.)

**Don't forget that FRI, OCT 2, we will be closing early at 5pm for this year's Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale. Starting at 6pm, Friends members only will be able to browse through the collection and buy books. $5 Memberships can be purchased at any time, even day of at the door. Then on SAT, OCT 3, we will open at 9am and the Fall Book Sale will be available to everyone until the end of day on OCT 17.

We had so much fun today during Dolly’s Reading Roundabout with UCA Outreach & Community Engagement! From hearing stories to making memories, and everything else in between, we’re so glad to have experienced it all together. 💜🦋
