Our Conway FFA chapter officers attended COW (Chapter Officer Workshop), where they strengthened their teamwork, communication, and leadership skills while working together with other FFA officers from across the area. A special thank you to the SC FFA State Officers for putting on a great workshop and helping our officers build the skills they need to lead our chapter this year!

Our September chapter meeting was a Birthday Bash! Our members enjoyed an afternoon filled with games, friendly competition, and a cupcake decorating contest. We had a great time celebrating our members and enjoying some fun together. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make our September chapter meeting a success!

Our students had the opportunity to attend CALF and learn more about agriculture and the many career opportunities within the industry. Our students were also able to connect with vendors, agricultural professionals, and other students from across Horry County.

Thank you to all of the vendors, sponsors, and individuals who helped make this event possible. We would also like to thank Horry County Schools Superintendent Cliff Jones and Darrell Ricketts of the Horry County Board of Education for their continued support of agricultural education and CTE programs.

A special thank-you to Southern Palmetto Farms for hosting this year’s event and providing our students with the opportunity to learn more about agriculture in our community.

They also developed skills in professional etiquette and learned more about what it takes to be effective chapter leaders.

A special thank-you to the SC FFA State Officers for hosting, Clemson Extension for providing the educational program, and ArborOne Farm Credit for helping sponsor this valuable leadership experience! We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in and strengthen our chapter’s leaders!
