IBM i Fun Fact Friday

Think RPG I is the first in the line? Not quite.

In the pre-1960s era, there was a "hidden" RPG 0 — FARGO. Short for Fourteen-o-one Automatic Report Generation Operation, this utility program was built for the IBM 1401 and served as the direct predecessor to the RPG language we know today.
