This official social media account are intended as a limited public forum to present matters of public interests and comments to let Coppell residents, businesses, visitors, and other interested parties know about all the great programs, services, and events going on in the city. We welcome your positive comments and will do our best to respond to your inquiries in a timely manner, subject to the social media. • We wish to promote effective communication and maintain a respectful dialogue on our social media pages, which serve as limited public forums. In that spirit, the regulations for posting comments on any City of Coppell social media account are below.
• The City of Coppell reserves the right to restrict or remove any content that is deemed in violation of these guidelines or any applicable laws.
• Comments on City posts must be within the scope of the topic under discussion. Comments or material not topically related to the site, article, or post being commented upon will not be permitted. Such messages will be removed.
• Comments addressed in reference to facilities and programming must be civil. Malicious, offensive, threatening, profane, or insulting language, or obscene content will not be permitted. Such messages will be removed.
• No references to the personality of other participants or individuals, or attacks on individual character will be permitted. Such messages will be removed.
• Comments containing any of the following will not be allowed for posting, and such messages will be removed:
- Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation;
- Personal attacks, threatening language, personal information about staff members or their family members;
- Plagiarized material; private, personal material published without consent; or libelous or defamatory material;
- Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity;
- Information that may compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;
- Information about locating and sharing knowledge and expertise is welcomed, but within the specific discussion at hand. Links to other websites or pages must be relevant to the topic;
- Advertising, spam, and promotional announcements.

Are you ready to vote in the November 3 general election? VoteTexas.gov has all the resources to help you.
1. Make sure to register to vote before October 5! The library has voter registration forms available.
2. Update your name and address online! Have you moved or changed your name? Update the information.
3. Check your voter registration status! Haven't voted in awhile? Check your voter status online.
4. Find out who and what is on the ballot! League of Women Voters Guides will be at the Library in the coming weeks.
5. Find your poll locations! The polling location for the City of Coppell is Cozby Library and Community Commons.
6. Make a plan to vote early! Early voting is October 19 - 30.
7. Vote! The General Election is November 3.

The Cozby Library and Community Commons will be closed on Tuesday, October 6 for a staff development day. We will reopen on Wednesday, October 7 at 9 am.

Heads up, Coppell! ALL Community Experiences facilities will be closed from 11 am – 1 pm this Thursday, September 17 for a staff appreciation event. This includes The CORE, Coppell Arts Center, Cozby Library and Community Commons, Coppell Senior & Community Center, and the Rolling Oaks Memorial Cemetery and Community Experiences administrative offices.
The Biodiversity Education Center will close for the day at 11 am. Wagon Wheel Tennis & Pickleball Center will also be closed except for pre-scheduled league play.
We appreciate your understanding as we take the time to celebrate our team for their hard work and support this year!

UPDATE (9/21/26, 2:27 pm): The repairs have been rescheduled for this Friday, September 25. We expect the Toddler Room to reopen by the early afternoon.
‼️Heads up! The Toddler Room will be closed on the morning of Friday, September 18 for some repairs. We hope to be open by the afternoon.

Are you ready to vote in the November elections? Cozby Library and Community Commons will have deputy voter registrars on site on Tuesday, September 15 from 10 am - 6 pm to check your registration status and/or register you to vote.
Can't make it on National Voter Registration Day? The Library has voter registration cards available at the front desk. The registration deadline to vote in the November 3, 2026 election is October 5.
