You're never to small for story time! 🐛

Our very hungry caterpillars have 'eaten through once nice green leaf', and majority of the Butterfly Milkweed from the Corinth Nature Preserve! Soon they will build a small house, called a chrysalis, around themselves and settle in for two weeks before their journey South!

Stay tuned as we watch Apple, Pear, Plum, Strawberry, Orange, and their friends become vibrant Monarch butterflies leading up to the Monarch Market on Saturday, October 10! 🦋

SURPRISE! Keep Corinth Beautiful has (temporarily) adopted 81 baby Monarchs! 🥳

Keep Corinth Beautiful is raising our very own Monarch Butterflies! From tiny larvae to caterpillars, chrysalis, and eventually a full-grown Monarch butterfly, we are preparing these Monarch's for the real world, like any good parent should!

Wondering what we will do with our new friends? Once these Monarch's are fully grown, they will be released at the Corinth Nature Preserve during the Monarch Market on Saturday, October 10! 🦋

Be sure to follow along as we document the growth of all 81 Monarch Butterflies leading up to the Monarch Market!

Monarch Migration Season is here!🦋

Every fall, millions of monarch butterflies pack their (tiny) bags and hit the skies for a 3,000-mile road trip to Mexico—and the Corinth Nature Preserve is right on the flight path!

Join us during the Monarch Market on Saturday, October 10, at the Corinth Nature Preserve for a community market filled with local vendors and artisans while we celebrate these pollinators on their long journey South. But that's not all! Be sure to stick around for a live monarch butterfly release that will take place during the Monarch Market!

Yesterday, we hosted a Day of Service at the Corinth Nature Preserve and Butterfly Garden with three of our favorite organizations! With over 80 volunteers, JustServe, American Heritage Girls Troop 1160, and Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Troop 1703 refreshed our garden and trails in one morning! We appreciate your willingness to serve and all the smiles. As the famous John Heywood quote goes, "Many hands make light work."

We are in the 30-day countdown to the Monarch Market! 🦋

Did you know our Butterfly Garden has over 30 different plant species to attract and feed pollinators? Every plant you’ll see at the Monarch Market was hand‑picked with purpose—native to our area, loved by pollinators, and bursting with beautiful blooms.

We’re excited to show off our garden — see you in 30 days and counting!

🦋 Our Butterfly Garden is getting ready for Monarch Market! 🌿

A huge thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers who have spent their time weeding, planting, tidying, and giving our Butterfly Garden some much-needed TLC in preparation for next month’s Monarch Market!

These behind-the-scenes efforts help create a beautiful and welcoming space for our community while supporting the pollinators that depend on native plants. We couldn’t do it without the many hands that show up and help make this garden grow. 💚

We can’t wait to share the garden—and all the work that goes into caring for it—with you at the Monarch Market next month!
