This roof was basically denied the first time around. 👀

The insurance carrier only approved a few items like the downspouts and roof vents — but not the shingles.

We came back out for the reinspection, documented the damage, walked the roof with the adjuster and made sure nothing was overlooked.

✅ Full roof approved.

A denial or partial approval doesn’t always mean the conversation is over.

Sometimes the leak isn’t the real problem… it’s how everything was installed in the first place. 👀

On this patio roof, the PVC pipe was sitting right in the transition, creating an issue that should’ve been addressed during the original install.

So instead of working around it, we did it right. We jacked the patio up, got underneath it, rerouted the pipe further up the roofline, replaced the shingles and set everything back down properly. 🔨🏠

Anybody can cover up a problem. We’d rather fix what caused it.

Most homeowners would never notice this… but water definitely will. 👀

This chimney was missing step flashing in one section, leaving an easy path for water to work its way behind the roofing system.

The fix? We cut in a new piece of step flashing and properly sealed the area to help keep water moving away from the home instead of into it.

It’s little details like this that can turn into expensive leaks if they go unnoticed long enough.
