Formula Student Germany 2026

We closed out our competition season just a few weeks ago with FSG, hosted at the Hockenheimring! With only a few days after FSS, the team worked diligently to prepare the car and moved efficiently through all inspections.

The dedication of our team members earned us 7th overall and 11th in the Driverless Cup! Our spot in the top ten is a testament to the hard work poured in throughout the season by our students, made possible by the support of our sponsors, advisors, alumni, and friends. We couldn't be more proud of our season with GFR26, and are looking forward to what's next... 🏎️

Formula Student Spain 2026

Earlier this month we returned to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the first time since 2023 and competed in FSS. Despite some issues on the track, we managed to place 9th overall and 4th in the Driverless Category!

The week was a great opportunity for both sides of our team to come together and dial our vehicle in for our last competition of the season, FSG, the following week. Thank you to the FSS organizers for a great time!

Rollouts: 2/2! 💥

On Thursday, GFR26 was unveiled on German soil at Friedrichshafen's very own Zeppelin Museum . This event marked the beginning of GFR's second half of the competition season as we eagerly look ahead to our Formula Student appearances in the coming weeks.

We are especially grateful to all who participated, as your endless support is what drives our team to succeed! And, thank you to Blaue Blume for catering for our event.

Next stop: Spain! 🇪🇸

At the start of the competition season, GFR had the opportunity to take part in Porsche Prejudging, where our car was presented and discussed in a professional environment.

Surrounded by passionate teams and experienced engineers, we were able to gain valuable insights and receive constructive feedback.

It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, reflect on our work, and take important input with us for the next steps!
