Weekend plans? You should probably be digging through records. Or CDs. Or cassettes. Or Criterions.
Whatever you’re looking for, we’ve got it.*
*Maybe. You’ll have to come dig around and find out.
It’s time for another Criterion Shelf episode!
This time we’ve got Joey Bauer from the Darkside Cinema digging through the collection. His picks: Happiness, House, and Malcolm X. Three very different movies, three very good reasons to clear your evening.
You can now shop the Criterion Collection right here at PreAtomic. Come browse the shelf and find your own picks!

We’re staying open late on October 2nd for Friday Night Lights! Come hang with us from 6–8 PM while Phoray spins some tunes and Dai Crisp keeps the pours coming.
We’re also joining the DCO Pumpkin Carving Contest! Check out our pumpkin in the window and scan the QR code to cast your vote. 🎃
Records, w**e, music, and competitive pumpkin carving. Sounds like a pretty solid night to us.

Our Criterion shelf pick videos are back!
We’ve got a few special guests coming up, but first and foremost, we figured it was time for a more official round of Josh’s picks now that we’ve got a much bigger selection to choose from. And if you haven’t heard yet, PreAtomic is officially a Criterion Collection vendor!
For this round, Josh picked Arsenic and Old Lace, Fail Safe, PlayTime, Police Story, Stalker, Tampopo, and The Human Condition trilogy.
Come by, peruse the Criterion shelf, and maybe leave with your next favorite movie.
