God designed us to grow and find healing not in isolation, but in the context of His people.

We’re excited to welcome Kevin Sanders to the Connection Point Counseling Conference, where he will explore the vital role of biblical counseling within the local church.

In his breakout session, "Biblical Counseling in the Church: The Pastor’s Role in Counseling," Kevin will help pastors and ministry leaders consider how counseling is not simply a specialized ministry, but an essential part of shepherding God's people. Together, we’ll explore how pastors can faithfully care for the souls entrusted to them through the wisdom of Scripture, the power of the gospel, and the support of the body of Christ.

As churches seek to cultivate cultures of care, this session will encourage leaders to embrace the call to walk alongside people in suffering, struggle, and growth.

The Connection Point Counseling Conference was created out of a desire to bring together counselors, pastors, ministry leaders, and caregivers who want to think deeply about what it means to care for people faithfully.

A place where Scripture remains our foundation.
A place where we wrestle honestly with the complexities of suffering.
A place where we pursue a deeper understanding of the whole person—body, soul, relationships, and spiritual life.

Throughout the conference, we'll explore what it means to care for people as God created them—whole persons whose bodies, souls, relationships, spiritual lives, cognition, volitions, and affections are deeply connected.

Grounded in the sufficiency of Scripture and shaped by the grand narrative of redemption, we'll engage topics including anxiety, OCD, trauma, worship, technology, parenting, pastoral care, and the ministry of the local church, seeking to understand how God's design informs faithful counseling and ministry.

This is more than a conference.

It’s an invitation to be part of a community committed to caring well.

Join us this September for the first Connection Point Counseling Conference.

The body matters. Suffering matters. Hope matters.

Caring well for others begins by seeing them the way God does.

We are not simply minds to be informed or problems to be solved—we are embodied people, created in the image of God, deeply known and fully loved by Him.

In our bodies we carry stories of joy and suffering. Our experiences shape us. Our struggles are real. And in every season, we need the hope and grace of Christ.

At the Connection Point Counseling Conference, we’ll explore what it means to care for the whole person with wisdom, compassion, and biblical faithfulness.

Because when we see people as God sees them, we can begin to care for them as He calls us to.

Join us this September as we gather to pursue a deeper understanding of embodied living and faithful care.
