Amid so many tragedies in people's lives and in the world, this is my prayer: "Lord, have mercy".
Kyrie (SATB) is a liturgical prayer for Divine mercy and favor. It begins simply with unaccompanied voice, a sense of sorrow, and pleading. As the piano and choir enter, it builds with intensity and hope with each utterance. Available through Music Spoke's Conduct(her) Choral Series, Kyrie may be sung alone, or paired with Sanctus (also available through Music Spoke) for added effect. It is suitable for collegiate choir, community choir, intermediate high school choir, and church choir, for services of worship, concert, and festival settings.

Vox Anima London is an amazing organization. I am thrilled to have music featured at the 2026 International Children's Choir Festival at Rochester Cathedral!
🎶New music alert!🎶
What a stunning place to have choral music premiered. I am in awe of this joy-filled performance by the treble voices of Bella Cantare, Young Naperville Singers. Heartfelt thanks to Artistic Director, Angie Johnson for bringing this music to life!

Perhaps - poem by Nancy Ruth Durance
"Can we make a dream reality
or do we still have too far left to reach?
Perhaps...
Perhaps there's just not more that we can do;
I'll worry about me
and you worry about you;
perhaps we just keep living as before;
there's no need to try for something more.
Perhaps there's just not more to life than this,
and it's futile dreaming of another wish.
Perhaps I just don't know what words to say,
but we can make a change today:
To look each other in the eye;
that's when we realize
humanity belongs to us all,
to give more than we take;
to build up words of truth and make
a new beginning;
to listen more than we speak,
live in humility;
perhaps all we can really do is try
to take a step; see the other side
Perhaps the world we live in could be free;
perhaps it all begins with you and me;
when we open up our hearts
we will be stronger than before...
Perhaps, perhaps...
perhaps."
