Many thanks to everyone who participated in the 12th Annual Bogue Falaya River Sweep, our cleanup event. About 365 pounds of litter/debris was removed from the river, helping to prevent it from reaching Lake Pontchartrain. You can be proud of your contribution to this statewide initiative organized by Keep Covington Beautiful is grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and hard work. It makes a difference! Thank You!

Join us at Bogue Falaya River Sweep on September 26th to help protect our river from litter and debris. Not even covid could keep us from continuing to make a lasting impact with this effort in 2020

KCB will partner with and participate in with our 12th Annual Bogue Falaya River Sweep on September 26, 2026. We will never forget finding Teddy
in 2014. Let's see what we will find in 2026!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make our April events a big success! They removed 60 lbs of trash from the Bogue Falaya River at the Quack-a-Falaya river sweep. 6,200 pounds of paper was dropped off by 142 residents at the annual Paper Shredding Day to be securely shredded & recycled.
Paper Shredding event is still on for Saturday April 25th starting as soon as the morning rain ends.
