Freedom Within is a veteran’s owned mental health therapy practice with a simple mission, to help you, "Re-Define Yourself" What this means and looks like is entirely up to you, and the process you choose to embark on during therapy is for you to decide. The process is and will be different for every person. My approach comes from a place of compassion and non-judgment with your best interest as the guide. Although I feel I have much to offer those I work with, by helping to process thoughts, feelings, and emotions, providing resources, and, simply being available to listen; the change comes from within you. That's where Freedom Within and "Redefine Yourself" comes from. We offer Marriage therapy and Pre-Marriage therapy, Family counseling PTSD/Trauma-focused treatment, etc.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — 25 Years Later. We Will Never Forget.
Today marks 25 years since a terrible act of terrorism took the lives of nearly 3,000 innocent people and forever changed our nation.
We remember every life lost that morning the mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, husbands and wives, friends and coworkers who never made it home.
We honor the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away. Many gave their lives that day, and many more suffered and died in the years that followed because of their service at Ground Zero.
We also honor the service members and veterans who answered our nation’s call in the years that followed. They left their families, crossed oceans, fought wars, carried wounds both seen and unseen, and, for some, made the ultimate sacrifice.
Twenty-five years later, we must never forget September 11th. We must remember what hatred and terrorism brought to our shores, remain vigilant against those who seek to harm our people, and protect the freedoms and security generations of Americans have sacrificed to defend.
May we never forget the lives that were taken.
May we never forget those who ran toward the danger.
May we never forget those who answered the call to serve. May God comfort the families who still carry that loss. We remember. We honor. We stand together. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Faith Through the Storm
Life will test your strength. There will be moments when fear, uncertainty, loss, and adversity make it difficult to see the path ahead. In those moments, don’t rely solely on your own understanding or strength. Turn to the One who never changes.
When we call upon the Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded that our struggles do not define us; our faith does. God often uses our greatest trials to prepare us for our greatest purpose. Every setback can become a testimony when we trust Him to lead us forward.
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” — Matthew 11:28–30
May today be the day you surrender your burdens to Christ and allow Him to strengthen your heart, renew your hope, and lead you into the purpose He has prepared for your life.

Protecting the Protectors: Optum backs off overpayment collection from vets’ mental health providers There’s hope of a resolution after mental health providers across the country who serve veterans through the VA’s Community Care Network were being asked to pay back thousands in alleged overpayments.
