This week for our "Ag Brag" Series, we are highlighting a group that works hard on and off the clock!
"These folks worked Friday afternoon and evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning planning the Mid-Winter Conference, developing a budget for the year, and looking ahead to the Summer Teachers Conference. Talk about 'Plan the work, then work the plan!'”

Thank you all for your submissions to our new "Ag Brags" Series, where we highlight the amazing work our fellow Ag Teachers are accomplishing across the state!
First up, Dr. Cecily Gunter and Mr. Ben Brand from Social Circle!
"Dr. Gunter and the Social Circle Ag Program sold nearly 800 mums to help fund their program. The relationships that she and Mr. Brand have built in their community make BIG impacts!"

Looking for a little last-minute help with SAE Award applications?
As part of this year’s GVATA Mid-Winter Conference, two days of professional development sessions will be offered. On Wednesday, January 27, one of the workshops will be an SAE Award Application Help Session at Camp John Hope.
This session is a CTAERN offering, so be sure to register through CTAERN if you plan to attend.
One important reminder: the award applications your students submit this spring will be the new application format, with the deadline falling about a week after this workshop.
This is a great opportunity to get some last-minute guidance, ask questions, and get clarification from State Staff before your students’ applications are due. Don’t miss it!

Congratulations!
🎉 Help us congratulate our newest CCHS FFA Advisor, Ms. Madison Shipley, on being selected as the CCHS Teacher of the Month! 🎉
Ms. Shipley has been absolutely killing it in the classroom! From getting students excited about animal science to teaching hands-on skills like electrical wiring, she has jumped right in and is making a difference every day.
We are proud to have her as part of our agriculture education program and the CCHS FFA family!
👏 Congratulations, Ms. Shipley! Well deserved! 💙💛
