Holly Grove Road Paving Complete!

We are excited to announce that the paving of Holly Grove Road is now complete!

A big thank you to Climer Paving and Traf-Mark Industries, L.L.C for their hard work and dedication in making this project a success. Your professionalism and quality workmanship are greatly appreciated.

As you enjoy the newly paved roadway, please remember that the speed limit is 30 MPH. Let’s work together to keep our roads safe for everyone.

ROAD IMPROVEMENT UPDATE – HOLLY GROVE ROAD

The City of Covington would like to inform residents that milling work on Holly Grove Road is scheduled to begin Thursday and Friday of this week, weather permitting.

Following the milling process, paving is scheduled to begin Monday, June 15th.

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the work zone. Please be mindful of construction crews and equipment as they work to improve the roadway.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this project as we work to provide safer and smoother roads for our community.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to celebrate Public Works Week with us last week! We had such a great time, and we truly appreciate all of the support from our community.

We enjoyed playing bingo, Public Works Family Feud, and we even had our very own Steve Harvey! It was a week full of fun, laughter, and appreciation for an amazing group of employees.

🇺🇸 In observance of Memorial Day, trash service will not run on Monday.

🗑️ Monday’s pickup will run on Tuesday, Tuesday’s pickup will run on Wednesday, and so forth through the remainder of the week.

🏛️ City offices will also be closed for the holiday.

✅ Update: Water Main Break Resolved

Repairs on the water main break at Hwy 59 and Houston Gordon Road have been completed, and water service has been fully restored to all affected homes.
