Owner and Founder, Mike Martin, is a 2nd generation seasoned craftsman that takes a personal approach to building. From the ground, you see a home under construction. From up here, you begin to see what this family imagined for their land.
The house sits among the trees, with space around it to breathe. At this stage, the earth is still freshly turned and the work is very much underway. But the shape of the place is already there: a family estate in Southeast Louisiana, designed around the people who will call it home and the land they chose to build on.
There’s something special about watching a luxury custom home take shape from this perspective. You can see how the buildings relate to each other, how the trees frame the property, and how much thought goes into placing a home on land like this. Someday, this view will hold a whole lot more than a construction site. It will hold ordinary mornings, full tables, family visits, and years of memories we can only imagine right now.
We’re grateful this family trusted Martin Building Group to help bring their vision to life. This is one of our favorite parts of being a Southeast Louisiana custom home builder: seeing a family’s hopes for their land slowly become a place they can live in and share.

It is truly an honor to have received this year’s People’s Choice Award along with Best Primary Suite at the Northshore Parade of Homes luncheon today. More than the awards themselves, we are incredibly grateful for the love, encouragement, and support our community showed us throughout the parade weekends.
Getting to open our doors, share what we love to create, and connect with so many familiar and new faces is something we never take for granted. It was a beautiful first weekend at the Parade of Homes. Thank you to all who came by! It was truly our pleasure meeting so many new faces from our community. We even had many come by from out of town-from Mississippi to Baton Rouge to the Southshore. Warmed our hearts. ☺️
