I take risks. I believe growth comes from stepping outside my comfort zone.

I traded a big house for a smaller one, but I also traded a small town for a bigger city with bigger opportunities.

I came to the United States in late 2017 when I was 18, alone to study in Utah. In 2019, I moved again and started over from scratch. By 2022, I had opened my first business, developed a passion for real estate, built experience investing in rental properties, and created a life I was proud of.

I was lucky that Crestview helped shape who I am today. This community gave me opportunities, friendships, and people who became family. Because of all of you, Crestview will always be my second hometown.

Then I made another big decision—one that many people didn’t understand. I sold my business, sold everything, and chose to move again to invest in new opportunities and build an even bigger future.

I’m 28 now. I’m grateful for everything I’ve accomplished, but I’m still hungry for more. Not because what I have isn’t enough, but because I know I’m capable of building more, learning more, working harder, and becoming better.

Starting over doesn’t scare me. Staying in the same place when I know I’m capable of more does.

Every chapter of my life has required faith, hard work, and the courage to take risks. I don’t know exactly what the next chapter will look like, but I know one thing: I’ll keep betting on myself.

Sometimes the biggest risk isn’t failing—it’s never trying at all.

Tomorrow, this page will have a new name, marking the beginning of a new chapter in my life. While Bread.Butter was a huge part of my journey, this page will now be about my journey.

I’ll still be baking from time to time and sharing recipes, baking tips, behind-the-scenes moments, and everything I’ve learned from both my successes and my mistakes. I’ll also be sharing my experiences in business and whatever new adventures come next.

Right now, I haven’t found the right kitchen that fits my vision, so baking will look a little different for a while. But don’t worry—I’m not done creating. This is simply the start of a new chapter, and I hope you’ll continue this journey with me.

Thank you for believing in me then, and thank you for believing in me now. ❤️

This Friday will be my last day at BreadButter Bakery. ❤️

As this chapter comes to an end, I just want to say thank you to every customer who has supported me over the years. Whether you stopped in for a boba, a slice of cake, macarons, or trusted me with your special celebrations, I am truly grateful. You helped turn my dream into reality, and I’ll always cherish the memories we created together.

To celebrate one last time, we’ll have cake slices, macarons, cheesecake, other baked goods, and boba drinks available while supplies last.

I would love to see you one more time before we say goodbye. Thank you for being such an important part of the BreadButter family. Your love and support have meant more than words can express.

Julia is continuing to keep cake slices and drinks available daily until the day the business officially transfers to the new owner.

Shelby is still working hard every day to restock cookies, brownies, and edible dough so we can keep your favorite treats available.

The last custom cake.

This is the final custom cake I’ll ever make in Crestview. It’s hard to believe this chapter is coming to an end.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of creating cakes for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, anniversaries, and so many special moments. Every cake carried a story, and I’m incredibly grateful that so many of you trusted me to be a small part of your celebrations.

As I finish this last custom cake, my heart is filled with gratitude. Thank you for supporting my dream, believing in my work, and allowing me to do what I love.

Crestview will always hold a special place in my heart. While this chapter is ending, a new one is just beginning.

Custom Cakes

It’s been a long time since I’ve made a custom cake. Over the past year, I stepped away from custom orders so I could focus on running the bakery and spending more time with my family.

This cake, along with one more, will be the final custom cakes I’ll make before I leave.

Creating custom cakes has always been one of my favorite parts of baking. Every cake tells a story and becomes part of someone’s special celebration. I’m grateful to everyone who trusted me to create those memories over the years.

Thank you for letting me be a small part of your birthdays, weddings, and life’s sweetest moments. ❤️
