🎓 12 MONTHS SOBER. ONE YEAR COMPLETED. A LIFE TRANSFORMED. 🙌

Next week, we have the privilege of celebrating Nick Thomas as he graduates from Project Hope after completing his year-long journey of recovery and discipleship!

When Nick shared his testimony at four months, he spoke about more than two decades of addiction, broken relationships, homelessness, and overdoses. He remembered the moment he walked into his mom’s room in tears and finally asked for help.

In Nick’s words, “I know that wasn’t me who got up. It was God who picked me up and said, ‘That’s enough.’”

Five days later, Nick walked through the doors of Project Hope.

Now, nearly one year later, we get to watch him walk across the stage.

Nick is celebrating 12 MONTHS SOBER and the completion of a year that required perseverance, surrender, and a willingness to allow God to work in his life. We have watched the Lord continue restoring relationships with his family and shaping Nick into the man He has called him to be.

Nick’s story is a reminder that the darkest chapter does not have to be the last chapter. Jesus Christ still saves. He still restores. He still makes all things new.

Nick, we are incredibly proud of you and excited to celebrate this milestone with you next week. Keep your eyes on Christ and keep moving forward. This is not the finish line. It is the beginning of what God has next.

We’re grateful for churches that open their doors and make room for meaningful conversations about God’s Word.

A heartfelt thank you to Blackwater Baptist Church and Pastor Levi Blackman for welcoming our men and including us in an insightful message about the end times. As we spent time in Scripture, Matthew 16 pointed us toward the return of Christ and the reality that the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory.

We were also blessed with the opportunity to share testimonies from our men and bring awareness to the mission of Project Hope. There is something powerful about hearing firsthand how God is transforming lives and seeing churches come alongside the work He is doing.

Thank you, Pastor Levi and Blackwater Baptist Church, for your hospitality, fellowship, and willingness to give our men a place to share their stories.

This morning, Blessed Hands Food Pantry is opening its doors once again to serve our community by sharing the groceries God has provided with individuals and families who could use a helping hand.

Each Saturday, our Project Hope men serve alongside incredible volunteers from throughout the community. Together, they’re putting faith into action and showing the love of Christ in a practical way to our neighbors.

What a wonderful evening with the Crestview Prayer Network!

We are so grateful for the invitation to spend time with a group of believers who are passionate about praying for our community. Thank you for allowing us to briefly share about Project Hope, enjoy some delicious pizza from Hideaway Pizza, and hear the powerful testimonies of our staff members, Chris and Jordan.

There is something special about seeing how God continues to write stories of redemption. Chris and Jordan’s testimonies were a reminder that no past is too broken for God’s grace and that He is still changing lives every day.
