Meet Brena LaCourse, Director of the Angel Minds Access Program (AMAP)

Brena is dedicated to helping individuals and families find hope, healing, and access to life-changing resources.

Through AMAP, she works to connect those facing mental health challenges, chronic pain, and other obstacles with support systems and opportunities that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

As Director of the Unity Program, she works to connect schools, businesses, families, and community partners to create meaningful support for school safety and student success initiatives.

Her vision is to unite people, resources, and opportunities to build stronger communities and brighter futures for our children.

What comes after service?

For many veterans, first responders, and educators, the transition into a new chapter of life can be one of the biggest challenges they face. Whether it’s retirement, a career change, or finding a renewed sense of purpose, the journey forward isn’t always easy.

The Angel Force Foundation’s Next Step Program was created to provide guidance, resources, and encouragement as participants navigate career changes, personal growth, community involvement, and life beyond their previous roles of service.

We’re excited to share that our Next Step video course is currently in development, bringing practical lessons, real-world advice, and valuable resources directly to veterans, first responders, educators, and others facing major life transitions.

This program is designed to help participants move forward with confidence, purpose, and a plan for the future.

Holly is passionate about helping veterans, first responders, and educators navigate life’s biggest transitions with confidence and purpose.

Through the Next Step Program, she is helping develop resources, guidance, and a new video-based course designed to support those entering a new chapter after service or major career changes.

Her work is focused on ensuring that no one has to navigate their next step alone.
