Ahoy, mateys! We had so much fun celebrating Pirate Day! 🏴‍☠️

Our kiddos went on a treasure hunt through our sensory bins, practiced fishing for magnetic fish with treasures, and got creative with their own pirate masks. Of course, no pirate adventure is complete without some “Chips Ahoy!” 🍪

Everyone also got to take home their own little treasure chest! 💙🪎

ABA Tip: Antecedents! ✨

An antecedent is what happens right before a behavior. Clear, simple directions can help create clear expectations!

Antecedents can include instructions, requests, or changes in the environment that happen before a behavior. Understanding what happens before a behavior can help us better understand why the behavior may be happening and how we can support the child. 🧩💙

Community Helpers & Kindness Day 💙

We had fun making badges, creating community helper crafts, practicing helping one another, and even dressing up like our favorite helpers!

We love learning that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. 😊🙌

Happy Apple Orchard Day! 🍎🌳

We had so much fun exploring the “apple orchard” today! Our friends picked apples from our pretend apple tree, visited the apple orchard market, explored an apple sensory bin, investigated the different parts of an apple, and practiced fine motor skills with our “worm in the apple” activity. We also washed apples, tossed apples into buckets, and enjoyed some yummy apple cream pie bowls! 🍏

So many fun ways to learn, explore, and celebrate apples!💙
