Thanks to Dylan I feel like I’ve been unofficially on-farm BQA certified 27 times but this year I’ve ✨officially✨ been certified (twice lol) so you’re probably asking - why is this even relatively important?

Being Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certified matters because it shows we’re committed to producing safe, high-quality beef while caring for our cattle the right way. 🐂🥩As freezer beef producers, it means you can trust that the beef in your freezer comes from animals raised with the highest standards of animal care, food safety, and sustainability.
Ask your farmers what certifications they may hold - it helps you make informed choices and know where your food comes from! ✨

The resolve, perseverance and unity shown in the days and years following the attack to ensure the American spirit never wavered and to preserve our freedom is why America is the greatest country on earth. Our family is forever grateful for the sacrifices made by our fellow Americans and we will never forget the lives lost or impacted by 9/11.

We’ve gotten a lot of new followers recently and wanted to take some time to re-introduce the faces behind Blue Ridge Cattle Co. 🤗
Our names are Dylan, Kali, Aurora and Magnolia Gilbert and we are very proud to do the work that you trust us to do - provide you with quality protein products for you and your family.
Dylan and Kali (myself) are veterans of the US Air Force (Dylan) and US Navy (Kali.) After our military contracts were up, we wanted to move back close to home after living 7 years in Nebraska. Dylan graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and volunteered a lot of time in Midwest feedlots - which sparked his love of feedlot cattle and feedlot nutrition. He brings that passion to our farm and implements it into how we raise our cattle. We both grew up in Alabama and are so excited to be home with our family, providing our friends and neighbors with protein you can feel good about investing in. We’d love to connect with you all, share, follow, reach out or stop by to say hi. 🫶🏻

We have around 15lbs total (1lb packs) of beef stew meat available! We know it’s hot now but these would be great for fall weeknight meals coming up. If you know us, you know we love a good crockpot meal too. 🤪

We’ve got plenty of ground beef and a handful of other cuts that need to find new homes. (Unfortunately, we’re pretty much out of steaks! 🥲)

We’re kicking around the idea of putting together a little sale or maybe some bundle deals. Ground beef is already priced about as low as we can go, but we’d love to get creative and help you stock your freezer!

If you’re planning to stock your freezer with a quarter, half, or whole beef next Spring/Summer (2027), now is the time to get on our pre-order list!

Pre-ordering is the ONLY way to reserve a beef share. We use our pre-order numbers to determine how many feeder cattle to purchase, so every response helps us plan for the coming year.

There is no deposit due today. We’ll reach out later when it’s time to place deposits and assign cattle.

Please only complete the form if you’re seriously interested and will respond when we contact you. If your plans change, that’s completely okay—we just ask that you let us know so we can offer your spot to another customer.
