“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

Devotion
As the week continues, it is easy to look around for help—in our own strength, in a plan, or in the people around us. This psalm asks a better question: where does my help come from? The answer is clear. Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He is bigger than any mountain in front of us. The God who made the world is the same God who watches over our ordinary Tuesday. We do not have to face the day by looking only at what is hard. We can lift our eyes to Him.

Today, look up. Place your trust in the Lord, and remember that the One who made heaven and earth is your help.

Prayer
Lord, our help comes from You, the Maker of heaven and earth. When problems feel large, help us lift our eyes to You. Be our strength, our guide, and our protector today. Amen.

Next week is set to be the biggest and best Cullman County Fair yet! 🎡

PRAYERS NEEDED: Baby Carter has to go back into surgery tomorrow.

Another abscess has formed in his chest and doctors need to drain it. His mama shared the news tonight, and you can feel how hard it is for her to watch him go through this again. He's just a baby, and he's already been through so much.

She said she'd trade places with him in a heartbeat. Since she can't, she's staying right by his side for all of it.

The family also started a GoFundMe to help with the bills that keep piling up. If you're able to give, they'd be so grateful. If not, sharing it or saying a prayer helps too.

Please lift Carter up tomorrow. Pray the surgery goes well, that they get it all, and that this is the last one he has to go through.
