British chess prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan has achieved another extraordinary milestone!
At only 11 years and 4 months old, Bodhana defeated 2,628-rated French Grandmaster and national champion Marc’Andria Maurizzi. With this remarkable victory, she became the youngest girl in chess history to defeat a Grandmaster rated above 2600—breaking a record held by the legendary Judit Polgár since 1988! 🏆🔥
Bodhana’s achievement is a powerful reminder that age is never a limit when talent, discipline, courage, and consistent practice come together.

We were excited to welcome 40 talented players who competed with outstanding focus, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Every game was a great display of strategy, learning, and competitive spirit!
