DEAMON

Long overdue update. Deamon is still trekking forward and has never stopped doing so but as we all get older life throws you some curve balls. With Ron's blessing we would like to let everyone know that he had to step away from the band and hasn't been jamming with us for well over 2 years now.

Some personal medical issues have caused him to have difficulty playing guitar properly and this started causing issues for him/us well before he had to step away which also slowed down the writing progress. He is otherwise perfectly fine and asks that people don't contact him about it as he would like to keep to himself and go about his business. He is currently having it dealt with and is moving forward as best he can. The door is and will always be open but he is currently away from the band indefinitely because of it. We/he also didn't really know what was what for some time so we just kept silent about it till we had more clarity. This regretfully slowed a lot of things down in many ways.

That being said, there has been roughly an album and a half of material written that we decided to put on the back burner from pre pandemic to now. It just wouldn't be the same putting it out without Ron and it may or may not get recorded in the future.

Now for the current situation, about an entire other album's worth of new material has been written with past/new members in the last year+ or so and we are just in the works of finalizing some of it. In typical Deamon fashion it is a slow process as we all navigate the fine line between wanting to just play metal 24/7 and actually "adulting" so we haven't set a recording date yet but rest assured a new album will be on the way. We figured an update was due!! In the meantime check out the sweet 20 year anniversary vinyl reissue of Descend Dethrone by www.serpentsinner.dk pick one up from them or us directly.
