The Zimmerman Project | Dallas, TX

Jules & Stephen invited me to collaborate with them on creating their very first home as newlyweds—a space that feels layered, personal, and full of joy. By thoughtfully blending cherished pieces they already owned with newly collected finds, we crafted a home that feels both meaningful and fresh. It was an honor to help bring their vision & story to life!

Welcome to AK Moore Design—my little corner of the world, where I get to help others transform their houses into homes.

My love for design began in my childhood and quietly found its way back to me in 2020. For years, I wrestled with what I was truly good at. I wondered if there was anything I truly wanted to do and was passionate about. In 2023, I began dreaming with the Lord. I laid down every expectation and idea, asking Him to reveal the gifts He had placed in me and how I could use them to honor Him. Almost immediately, doors began opening—designing friends’ apartments and homes, sharing our own space, and stepping into opportunities I never could have orchestrated myself. It’s been a tremendous honor getting to creatively bring someone’s vision for their space to life.

Through it all, I realized this is what I love most creatively: helping people create spaces that invite comfort, vulnerability, and belonging.

AK Moore Design is a dream becoming a reality & I am so glad you’re here. ❤️ - Aren
