Snappy Salads is known for life-changing salads and is here to help time-starved adults discover craveable salads that will make you feel satisfied and refreshed. Snappy Salads first opened in 2006 and has won “Best of” awards from the Dallas Observer, D magazine, AOL CitySearch, WFAA, Pegasus News, and every major publication in Dallas. Other designations include: "Restaurant Neighbor Award," "Sustainable Business," and the City of Plano's first Green Business Certification. All salads (aka. “Snaps”) are made with the highest-quality fresh-cut ingredients available on the market; dressings and soups are made on premise; all-natural chicken and hormone- and antibiotic-free steak is grilled over mesquite; and they offer Fair Trade Organic Black Iced Tea. Snappy Salads is proud to use California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Reggiano Parmesan cheese, 3-leaf Balsamic Vinegar, and many more quality items that reinforce their commitment to only serving the best. People are craving more time in their day and healthier dining options. Snappy Salads delivers both. Snappy Salads is healthy in more than one sense of the word. All of our cups, salad containers, and utensils are biodegradable. The shirts that team members wear are made from either h**p or organic cotton. They use a revolutionary environmentally friendly cleaning method that eliminates the need for harsh chemicals. Each restaurant features long gathering tables, chairs, and such made of reclaimed wood salvaged from various and interesting places. The countertops are made of recycled porcelain, b**r and w**e bottles, and the lighting in the dining area is low-voltage LED running on less than 350 watts. All take out containers, cups, and utensils are biodegradable. Snappy Salads is open Monday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. except our Harwood location which is open Monday through Friday from 11:00am-3:00pm.
