We accomplish our mission through our one of a kind publication and our programs that educate, encourage, equip and empower women. Brighter is turning 5 years old this month! Brighter’s birthday has always been a very special milestone for the organization. Not only is it the month that Brighter received its nonprofit status in 2021, it is also the month of the birthday of the original visionary, Jean Maday. Jean’s vision for a beautiful resource for women like her, women affected by cancer, is what motivated Brighter’s Founder Helen to start this journey back in 2020.
Every August we celebrate the birthday of dearly departed visionary Jean, and of the organization that she dreamed of. Each year that Brighter continues to serve is a testament to the value of support and resources in this community. Most nonprofits fail within the first three years, but Brighter has remained because of the support of incredible donors, volunteers, and supporters in our community. It is because of you that we can keep providing education, resources, and hope to women affected by cancer.
Partner with us this August by supporting our Celebrations Campaign to continue serving women all over the country.
