๐Ÿšจ Stop scrollingโ€ฆ you need to hear this! ๐ŸŽง๐Ÿ”ฅ

DJ Snake just dropped โ€œMake Haste,โ€ a song inspired by Haste from the game DOORSโ€ฆ and itโ€™s an absolute vibe. ๐ŸŽฎ๐ŸŽถ If youโ€™re a fan of the game, this oneโ€™s definitely worth a listen!

At Spin the Spectrum, we love seeing our students connect music with the things theyโ€™re passionate about. Whether itโ€™s gaming, movies, or favorite artists, those interests can become the spark that inspires creativity, confidence, and new skills behind the DJ controller.

What game or character do you think deserves its own song next? Let us know in the comments! ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿšจ This should not work.

Seriously.

Listen to it before you read the comments.

๐ŸŽค LL Cool J.
๐ŸŽธ Rush.

Two completely different worlds.

One incredible mix.

Jordan heard a connection most people would never think to make.

And thatโ€™s exactly why we do what we do.

Too often, autistic and neurodivergent people are defined by what others think they canโ€™t do.

Weโ€™re more interested in what happens when theyโ€™re given the opportunity to show what they can do.

๐ŸŽง This isnโ€™t a novelty.

๐Ÿ”ฅ This is creativity.
๐Ÿ”ฅ This is musicality.
๐Ÿ”ฅ This is technical skill.
๐Ÿ”ฅ This is pattern recognition.
๐Ÿ”ฅ This is talent.

And talent deserves opportunity.

โ™พ๏ธ Every lesson at Spin the Spectrum helps students explore music, technology, creativity, self-expression, and performance in an environment designed to support who they are.

๐Ÿ‘€ Parents:

Can you picture your child behind the decks?

Because we can.

๐Ÿ’› Supporters:

Your donations help provide lessons, equipment, workshops, performances, and scholarships for autistic and neurodivergent students.

๐Ÿ“ฒ Share this with someone who loves music.

Then ask them one question:

Did you think these songs would work together?

๐Ÿ‘‡ Tell us the exact moment you realized they actually did.

What if an old controller sitting in a closet could help launch a future DJ?

At Spin the Spectrum, weโ€™re building standardized DJ kits for autistic and neurodivergent students across the country through our Virtual DJ Lab. Every controller, laptop, pair of headphones, software license, and sponsorship helps create access to opportunities that might not otherwise exist.

Weโ€™ve seen students discover confidence, build skills, perform for audiences, and develop a sense of identity through music. Now weโ€™re working to make those opportunities available to even more students, regardless of where they live.

If youโ€™re a DJ, music producer, company, or industry partner, weโ€™d love to connect. Whether itโ€™s equipment, software, financial support, or simply sharing this post, every contribution helps.

Letโ€™s put more future DJs behind the decks.

What if learning to DJ was finally taught in a way that actually honored how neurodivergent people learn? โˆž

Spin the Spectrum is officially launching our Virtual DJ Lab pilot program using our SAMM Framework (Structured Auditory Motor Mixing), a multisensory and neurodiversity-affirming approach designed specifically for neurodivergent learners.

This is not a typical online music class.

Students learn through:
โˆž Pattern-based instruction
โˆž Music and rhythm
โˆž Visual and tactile supports
โˆž AAC integration when needed
โˆž Real-world DJ skill development
โˆž Structured supports that build toward actual performances

Our goal is not just to teach โ€œmusic lessons.โ€ Our goal is to help neurodivergent individuals build confidence, creative expression, independence, and meaningful participation through DJing.

This pilot is ideal for neurodivergent individuals who love music, enjoy technology, benefit from structured and strengths-based learning approaches, and want to explore creative expression and performance opportunities in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Participants in the pilot will receive discounted introductory pricing while helping us refine and expand the program nationally.

Please note:
All participants must use the required standardized equipment setup to ensure consistency and accessibility within the SAMM Framework. A buyback option for eligible equipment will also be available to help reduce financial risk for families.

Spots will be very limited for this first pilot cohort.

Families and participants from anywhere in the United States and internationally are welcome to inquire.

Makai gives his best impression of Mr. Jay ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŽง

If youโ€™ve ever seen Mr. Jay DJโ€ฆ this is going to hit immediately ๐Ÿ˜‚ Makai studied the whole vibe and gave us his version and honestly itโ€™s a little too accurate. The stance, the focus, the energyโ€ฆ all of it.

These are the moments we love. Joy, connection, and kids feeling comfortable enough to observe, interpret, and make it their own in the most hilarious way possible.

Weโ€™re still laughing ๐Ÿ˜‚

This is what time and belief turn into.

There are so many moments behind this one. Hours of practice. Trust built over time. A relationship that made space for growth. And a student who kept showing up. โณโœจ

Sam stepped into this moment ready, not because it was easy, but because he was given the time and support to actually learn, develop, and own it. ๐ŸŽง๐Ÿ”ฅ

And when the music started, the room felt it. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸŽถ

This is why inclusion matters. Not as an idea, but as something you can see, hear, and feel in real life. โˆž

When inclusion feels this powerful, joy becomes the loudest thing in the room ๐Ÿ”Šโœจ Last night at the National Autistic Association of North Texas awards ceremony, DJ Sam C stepped into his first official gig and created something none of us will ever forget ๐ŸŽง Sam has been working with us since 2021, and what we witnessed was the culmination of years of trust, growth, and belief coming together in one moment ๐Ÿ™Œ He looked out at the crowd, saw people moving with him, celebrating with him, and you could feel it shift ๐Ÿ’ซ This was not just a performance. This was what real inclusion looks like when it is done right ๐Ÿค It was connection, it was belonging, it was the kind of moment that changes what people believe is possible ๐ŸŒ We are so grateful to the National Autistic Association of North Texas for trusting Sam with that stage and for creating a space where this kind of moment could happen ๐Ÿ™ And to Sam, who showed everyone in that room exactly what happens when opportunity meets support, we are endlessly proud ๐Ÿฅน If you have ever wondered what true inclusion looks like, this is it. Watch closely ๐Ÿ‘€ This is what happens when people are given the chance to be seen, heard, and celebrated ๐ŸŽถ โˆž
