Little Ronny bravely made it through his surgery and the loss of his eye. Even though he is definitely in pain right now, he is holding on like a true little fighter.
Ronny thanks everyone from the bottom of his little heart who helped us cover the cost of his surgery. Because of you, he was able to receive the medical care he desperately needed, and now he can begin his road to recovery.
Right now, Ronny really needs a foster home. He is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, incredibly sweet and absolutely friendly with everyone. If anyone is willing to give this little boy a temporary home, love, and a peaceful place to recover after surgery, please reach out to us.

We have wonderful news!
This week, Oso finally found his forever home! After spending more than a year in boarding, waiting and waiting for someone to choose him, he is finally becoming part of a family.
Watching a dog who has waited so long finally leave boarding and start his new life is one of the happiest moments for us.
Happy life, sweet boy. You waited a long time for this, and now your new chapter begins.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped Ronny.
I’ll be picking him up from the hospital this evening after his surgery, and I’ll post an update as soon as I can.
Unfortunately, we still haven’t raised the full amount needed to cover his surgery. If anyone would still like to help sweet Ronny with his medical expenses, we would be incredibly grateful for any support.
Thank you so much for caring about him and helping us give him this chance.

EMERGENCY. WE NEED HELP RIGHT NOW.
We haven’t even come close to raising enough money for the surgery to save one dog’s leg — and now we have another emergency.
This sweet dog was found homeless and injured. We have been fighting to save his eye, hoping treatment would work and surgery could be avoided.
But today, his condition suddenly got much worse.
He needs emergency surgery. TODAY. RIGHT NOW.
The surgery may cost up to $1,500, and we simply do not have the money to pay for it.
I don’t know how else to say this: we need to leave for the emergency clinic immediately, but we don’t have $1,500 available on a credit card to authorize his surgery.
There are 13,000 people in this group.
If even a small fraction of us gave $5, $10, $20, we could get him to the hospital and give him the help he desperately needs.
I would already be driving to the clinic if I had a card with enough available credit to cover this. I don’t. We are overwhelmed with veterinary bills, boarding bills, and emergency after emergency.
And this little boy cannot wait for us to figure it out tomorrow.
He needs us NOW.
Please, please help us get him into surgery. 🙏
Please donate whatever you can.
Please share this post.
Thank you to everyone who continues to stand beside our animals. Thank you to everyone who donates, shares, fosters, adopts, and refuses to look away.
We cannot save him alone. But 13,000 of us can.
URGENT GOAL: $1,500

🚨 PLEASE, WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP 🚨
I want to tell you the story of a truly wonderful woman who has helped save an incredible number of dogs.
She opened her home to homeless, abandoned, and unwanted dogs. She fostered them, cared for them, loved them, and gave them a second chance — a chance to feel safe again, to know what love is, and eventually to find families of their own.
She has been there for animals when they had no one else.
And now, she needs us.
She is currently fighting cancer and going through chemotherapy and treatment. At the same time, her beloved large dog suffered a severe and complicated leg fracture and desperately needs surgery.
So far, we have raised only a small portion of what is needed.
And we are running out of time.
We have already lost so much precious time, and with every passing day, the chance of successfully saving his leg becomes smaller. This is becoming extremely critical.
Without this surgery, this beautiful dog may lose his leg — even though there is still a chance for him to keep it and continue living a full, happy life.
PLEASE, HELP US GIVE HIM THAT CHANCE.
You do not have to donate hundreds of dollars. Even $5 or $10 matters. If enough of us give just $5 or $10, together we can make this surgery possible.
This woman spent years helping animals when they needed her. She gave them shelter, care, love, and hope.
Someone who has spent so much time helping others should not be left alone when she is the one who needs help.
Please, let’s be there for her now.
Donate if you can. Even $5 helps.
And if you truly cannot donate, PLEASE SHARE.
Let’s save his leg. Let’s give back to someone who has given so much to others.

Big Mac’s story was featured by The Dodo!
A huge thank-you to Schwager for sharing Big Mac’s story and helping bring attention to dogs like him—overlooked and abandoned, yet still so deserving of love, a home, and a second chance.
It means so much to us to see his story shared on such a major platform. We hope it helps people look beyond a rescue dog’s appearance and past and see the loving heart waiting for the right person.
Thank you to everyone who stood by Big Mac and helped him along the way.
Here's the article:
Stray Dog Learns How McDonald's Drive-Thru Works And Convinces Every Car To Order Him Food Zully Vasquez Ventura had been trying to help a stray shepherd mix for years when she saw him at McDonald's, convincing drivers to give him their food, and it proved to be just what she needed.

Sometimes I truly don’t understand why people want dogs. You were living perfectly well without one—so why take a dog into your home?
Why do you write in your applications that you would never give up on a dog and that the dog would become part of your family? You tell us how much you love her and how deeply you have bonded with her—and then we receive messages like this.
The first screenshot is a message from the owners who assured us that they loved this little girl and would never give her up. The next screenshot shows her at Animal Control. She is only five months old.
Why do you do this to them, people? Why? Why take a dog at all when you are not prepared to be responsible for her and stay by her side—not only when everything is easy and convenient?
We urgently need a foster for this little girl! Please, everyone in Michigan, share this post. She desperately needs help.
